Catherine Zanon trained at Western University (earned a Bachelor of Musical Arts in Classical Voice), and Randolph College for the Performing Arts (earned a Diploma in theatre and film). She's had the opportunity to train in Shakespeare, Film &TV, musical theatre singing, opera, art song, cartoon character voices, and audiobook recording.

          Catherine continues to work both onstage and in the film world, as she loves meeting and working with fellow artists on new projects and seeing what they can create together. Most recently she was seen onstage in Cinderella as Gabrielle, and will be appearing as Diana in Anne of Green Gables with Alexander Showcase. She was a supporting lead in the award winning film "Snitches Get Stitches" as Sally. And originated the lead role of Milo in the new Canadian Musical "Milo's World", with 4Score Prod. and OnItsWay MP. The tracks for "Milo's World" can be found on both iTunes and Spotify!

          Catherine has a courageous and genuine personality that shines through all of her work.  She's open hearted, with a love for the environment, as well as a love for Shakespeare, musical theatre, and film, and is currently self-represented.  And has had the wonderful opportunity of studying with people such as Angela Besharah, Bob Longo, David Storch, Jeannie Wyse, Debbie Wilson, Rosanna Saracino, Peggy Jane Hope, and Dylan Roberts.

          

          Ever since Catherine was a child she has always loved the stage.  She grew up in a musical home that was never quiet, and although the shyest of three, she ended up finding her way into theatre.

           

          Art connects people in so many ways and Catherine loves connecting with her community through art.

          Fun Fact: She's a huge book nerd and loves to practice her accents when reading new novels.
